Below is a gallery of recent beauty through my eyes from this past week. Grateful to reunite with friends and family as new conversations unfold and new ideas begin to bloom. Drum & Flow Daily Zoom Class has been a beautiful new daily ritual brightening my days and connecting me with my partner. I’ve been back to surfing and biking every morning, continuing to eat clean, and taking more action to implement more contentment to my mornings. Being back in nature everyday is the Grounding I have been subconsciously seeking. Awaking for an early morning workout in nature before drumming and creating soundscape for Drum & Flow gives me a deep sense of comfort and gratitude that I get to enjoy the contents of my days, gather my inspirations, and shine my light.

Produced with generous support from Blick Art Materials, Community Day is a family-friendly event for neighbors and visitors to learn more about the Bushwick community, and the many valuable services and programs that local organizations offer. Coinciding with the opening of the Bushwick Farmers’ Market season, this year’s event focuses on the intersection of Arts & Wellness.

Featuring visual art, agriculture, dance, hip-hop, spoken-word, theater, yoga, performance art, music, and much more, it is the goal of AiB to provide a space for Bushwick community organizations, artists, individuals, and not-for-profits to showcase their incredible talents and programs through interactive projects during Bushwick Open Studios.

*In case of rain Community Day will be held at Hope Gardens Community Center, 422 Central Ave.
