Percussionist/DJ/Educator/Performer in NYC Seeking Opportunities

Fam, friends, fans, and future collaborators!

I am seeking equipment sponsorship/endorsement opportunities for my professional work in drumming, teaching, and performing.  I have been teaching drum set since 1999, and have had a significant increase in opportunities to teach and provide rhythm percussion in the past 5 years in New York City and Long Island at studios, schools, workshops, after-school programs, public libraries, outdoor events, classes, community events, and more.  I have been DJing professionally since 2002, and continue to provide music for events, parties, clubs, bars, galleries, and community events.

My needs at this time are DRUMS and PERCUSSION.  I currently teach an average of 40-50 students per week and travel to facilities with a pushcart of varied percussion instruments that I’ve acquired and maintain through heavy use.

Any help in finding a suitable business/entity for ambassadorship is greatly appreciated, and partnership is not limited to drum manufacturers.  Companies/small businesses of any kind may provide support in exchange for promotion, advertising, commercials during broadcasts and live events, product recognition, web ads/listings on site, and endorsement of service/products.  A relationship with a company would provide for mutual marketing, advertising, and promotional opportunities for future progress and development toward a mutual gain in business.

My work is as an independent musician/DJ, freelance teaching artist, and rhythm percussion instructor.  I am always seeking gigs and opportunities to work.  I am hoping that by spreading the word, and remaining committed to learning, building, and advancing my work, I can build my business further and my ability to invest in advertising, marketing, better equipment, etc.

If you have any interest/info/ideas, please contact me at jojoSOULaudio@gmail.com.

References, reviews, employer info, videos, audio, curriculum, all available at request.
