Great session, and can’t wait to hear it finished. Josh’s songwriting choices and playing sound excellent, and Marc’s recording knowledge sculpts, adds, and deepens the songs’ sonic qualities. Very excited to be a part of these recordings.
Ayalew Mesfin is among the legends of a 1970s Ethiopian funk era whose music was forced underground by his country’s government. Now, over 40 years later, his triumphant return gives us a chance to discover a rare & beautiful moment in music history.
jojoSOUL is on the decks!
Out of the old crates comes this new mix! Enjoy 😉 Real vinyl- scratches, skips and all, unedited. Thanks for listening!
What. A. Year…
I’d like to thank everyone who helped me along my path this year, those who supported and influenced me, and those whom I’ve had the privilege to work with this year. You all inspire me and give me the strength and understanding to continue toward my goals and lessons. I appreciate all the opportunities I’ve been blessed with this year, and look forward to continuing to cultivate my skills, feelings, abilities, and passions.
With love in my heart, I present to you a new project title and purpose. NewYorkWild.Life is a self-assessment, a look inward to define what I can express outward, and an honest interpretation of what I’ve found within and wish to share in hopes of inspiring and entertaining.
I am grateful to be in the company of my partner, Agave L’amour. Your constant support and inspiration keeps wind in my sails, and continues to prove the impossible is only what we allow to beat us. You are a great teacher and beautiful human, and I thank you for everything. Here’s to so many more impossibly beautiful moments with you. Tqm
Now then… ready for 2018? 😉
